To guarantee the transportation safety of mass-produced sheet metal products and minimize the risk of package breakage and component damage, staff from the International Trade Department of China National Complete Engineering Corporation (CNCMC) carried out a full-process packaging inspection on agricultural machinery fenders at manufacturing plants and yards in Tianjin on April 23. The team rigorously verified packaging quality and transportation safety to ensure full compliance with sea freight and inland transshipment criteria.
The inspection was implemented at two sites in a well-organized manner. At Tianjin Longsheng Auto Parts Co., Ltd., inspectors focused on the ex-factory packaging status of fenders. On-site verification revealed that current short-term optimization solutions failed to fully meet maritime transportation requirements, with packaging boxes still exposed to high damage risks. The adoption of fumigated solid wood pallets has been confirmed as the long-term improvement measure. Additionally, the existing foam padding between parts was inadequate to prevent stacking slippage. Through technical consultation with the factory’s engineers, both parties agreed to install buffer rubber strips at stacking contact points for the next batch to verify the optimization effect.
At the Tianjin cargo yard, inspectors tracked the entire cargo pickup logistics process and assessed packaging hazards arising from inland transshipment and forklift operations. Targeted protective improvements were defined, including reducing loading capacity and upgrading materials for wooden cases and pallets.
The full-process inspection accurately identifies critical packaging defects and clarifies short-term optimization measures as well as long-term improvement plans. It consolidates the foundation for upgraded packaging schemes and reliable export transportation. Furthermore, it strengthens technical collaboration with cooperative manufacturers and steadily enhances the export competitiveness of the company’s mechanical products.
