Zoomlion’s roadheader goes to the Caucasus to help build expressways

Zoomlion ZTR260 tunnel boring machine will be sent to Georgia this time. Georgia is located along the entire Black Sea coast of the central and western Transcaucasus, which connects the Eurasian continent. As the ancient Silk Road and the modern Eurasian corridor, Georgia is an important partner of China in the Eurasian region. In recent years, Georgia has been committed to improving the state of infrastructure, and a series of infrastructure projects have started one after another.

It is understood that Zoomlion’s roadheader will participate in the construction of the local E60 highway F4 project after its arrival. The E60 expressway connects the Georgian capital to the port city of Batumi, and runs through the east and west of Georgia. It is the largest and most important infrastructure project in Georgia at present, and is of great significance to promoting local economic development. The total length of the main line of the F4 lot is 14.752 kilometers, the bridge-to-tunnel ratio is 45.7%, and the main structures include 7 bridges, 6 tunnels, and 3 interchanges. Considering the construction needs, the project party chose Zoomlion ZTR260 roadheader to replace the local traditional excavator construction method, which greatly improved the construction efficiency and safety.

Zoomlion ZTR260 roadheader has strong overall performance. The professional crushing design makes the rock breaking ability stronger. The low center of gravity design helps reduce the vibration of the whole machine and makes the construction more stable. It also adopts professional dust suppression technology to improve the degree of visualization. Make construction more environmentally friendly and convenient. In addition, the ZTR360 roadheader is convenient for dump trucks to transport materials, and can be used for tunnel construction such as subway tunnels, water conservancy projects, highways full of roads, and urban pipe corridors.
